Celeste Rincón, AMFT
My therapeutic approach is integrative and relational, combining attachment-based therapy, the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. These approaches help clients strengthen relationships, increase self-awareness, and develop tools to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
As a Christian therapist, I value the role of faith as a powerful source of resilience, healing, and hope. I also understand the unique experiences of both LDS and post-LDS clients, including the complexities of faith transitions, identity, and family dynamics. My goal is to provide a space where individuals can explore their beliefs and values freely—whether they wish to integrate faith into therapy or simply feel seen and understood within their cultural and spiritual context.
I work extensively with couples, individuals, and veterans, supporting them through relationship repair, trauma recovery, and personal growth. My background as a PhD candidate in developmental psychology gives me a deep appreciation for how our earliest attachments and life experiences shape who we become—and how healing and change are possible at every stage of life.
I view therapy as sacred work: a partnership that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. It is a space where understanding replaces shame, and growth unfolds through compassion, courage, and faith.
