About Me
Vanessa often describes the therapeutic journey as hiking a mountain. Each person’s path is unique, with its own terrain, curves, and pace. Even when it feels like you’re going downhill, you’re still moving forward.

She honors each client’s pace and recognizes that cultural background, family dynamics, and life experiences shape how we navigate challenges. Vanessa is committed to walking alongside her clients as they work toward healing, growth, and greater connection.

Vanessa Muñoz is a Bilingual, Multicultural Therapist who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes healing begins with showing up, and she walks alongside her clients with empathy, curiosity, and compassion throughout their journey.

Vanessa earned her Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA, where she double majored in Psychology and Chicana/o/x Studies with a Minor in Labor and Workplace Studies. She later obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling from California State University- Fullerton, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and an Ánimo emphasis. Her educational background and lived experience provide her with a deep understanding of cultural identity, family dynamics, and systemic challenges that many individuals and families face.

Vanessa was drawn to the field of therapy by a strong desire to support others and help break down stigma surrounding mental health, particularly within diverse and underserved communities.
